I always thought the only automakers to make cars with a little place for an umbrella as standard equipment would be the super luxury makers such as Rolls Royce, but I was wrong!
Today I learned Nissan offered this in a rally homologation special, the Pulsar GTiR. A wonderful AWD, turbo, hatchback with this:
Maybe this was a leftover from the more pedestrian Pulsars? I’m not sure but now my car feels lacking because it doesn’t have this.
Or a turbo.
Or all wheel drive.
Or rally heritage.

They are single digit number of thousands usually. My local importer frequently has them, that one shiney posted is definitely towards the top end on prices. The only one they have now is a little rough: http://sodo-moto.com/listings/1991-nissan-pulsar-gtir-2/ But it’s also only 6 grand.
